Here's a tiny piece of trivia for you...Mrs. Weaver, my first grade teacher at Roxhill elementary, was a very good friend of Sr. Rosemarie. They used to go rollerskating together in the downstairs halls at Kennedy.
I'm not making this up.
Mrs. Weaver told me to ask Sr. Rosemarie about it, so freshman year when we had to meet with Sr. Rosemarie in her office I went in and listened to her little speach and then she said, "Do you have any questions?" and I said "Yes, Iris Weaver told me to ask you about rollerskating." Sr.'s mouth dropped open in complete shock but she pulled her rollerskates out from under her desk. She said that she didn't do it anymore because of the car accident.
